Watermelon, Strawberry, Pineapple Frappe is yet another very refreshing drink. Perfect for hot summer days or after a long day of fasting.

Frappe means an ice based beverage involving crushed ice in particular.

Here is the recipe..

Serves 2

Ingredients :

Watermelon - 1/4 of a large watermelon
Strawberry - 8, firm, ripe and sweet
Pineapple - 8 pieces from the can
Ice - 6 cubes, optional

Method :
1. You can use ice cubes or you can simply freeze the strawberries and the pineapple bits. I froze the fruits and skipped the ice cubes.
2. Cut the watermelon, discard the rind and remove the seeds as much as possible. Cut into bite sized chunks.
3. Wash and hull the strawberries. Cut into quarters. Freeze them.
4. Take 8 pineapple pieces from a can of pineapple and freeze them.
5. Just before planning to serve, add the watermelon, frozen strawberries, frozen pineapple pieces to a blender or a tall bowl.
6. Add 3 Tablespoons of the juice from the pineapple can. This is optional.
7. Add ice cubes if not freezing the fruits.
8. Blend together and serve immediately.
