Strawberry and Banana Smoothie is a very refreshing and filling drink that can be prepared easily within minutes. A glass of smoothie is a great breakfast or a mid day snack. Smoothies can be prepared for Iftar (Fast opening) using different combination of fruits.
Here is the recipe..
Serves 2
Ingredients :
Strawberry - 8 ripe, firm, sweet
Banana - 1 ripe and firm
Yogurt - 1/2 cup
Milk - 1/2 cup low fat or skimmed
Sugar - 2 Tablespoons (optional)
Ice - 6 cubes (optional)

Method :
1. Wash and hull strawberries. Cut into quarters.
2. Peel and cut the banana into small slices.
3. In a bowl or jar of a blender add the yogurt, milk, strawberry pieces, banana pieces and sugar. Add ice cubes if using.
4. Blend to a smooth puree or reserve a few chunks.
5. Serve.
