My little doll just turned 2. It feels like she was just born day before yesterday and she is already 2. Time super flies. To celebrate her birthday we had a small get together at home and invited some friends and our neighbours. I made these Canapés to serve. I loved not just how they tasted but also how they looked. So pretty and colorful.

I got the idea for these Canapés from Nick Jr website. The theme for the birthday was Bubble Guppies as that is my daughter's favorite cartoon at the moment. I downloaded all the decorations from Nick Jr website for the birthday.

Here is how I made them..

Ingredients :
Salted Crackers - 2 pkts : 26 crackers
Cucumber - 2 medium
Cheese slices - 3
Labneh (Hung Curd) - 1/2 cup
Blue food color - 2-3 drops
GoldFish crackers as required

Method :
1. Peal, wash and cut the cucumber into discs, as thick or as thin as you desire.
2. In a bowl add the labneh. Add the food color and mix well. Transfer this to a piping bag and keep aside.
3. Just before serving place the crackers on a tray or a plate.
4. Cut each cheese slice into 9 squares. Place each square on top of the cracker.
5. Place a slice of the cucumber on top of the cheese.
6. Pipe the labneh.
7. Place the goldfish crackers on top of labneh. I placed 2 on each.
8. Place some goldfish crackers around the plate.

Enjoy Canapés

    1. Thanks Meena.
I had very small kids attending the party so they were not too excited.
      I loved it though :)
