I came across this recipe today and gave it a try immediately and I loved it. A must try for every chocolate lover. It is so easy and simple to prepare and the recipe uses no eggs. I loved the smooth texture and taste. Every spoonful simply melts in your mouth.

Here is the recipe..

Makes 1 serving

Ingredients :
Milk - 120 ml
Sugar - 1 tablespoon
Cocoa powder - 3/4 Tablespoon
Custard powder - 1/2 tablespoon
Chocolate - 1 tablespoon grated (any type. I used semi sweer chocolate chips)
Whipped cream - as required
Glazed cherry - 1

Method :
1. In a small bowl add the chocolate chips and melt them in the microwave by warming thrice for 10 seconds. Keep aside.
2. In another small bowl add cocoa powder, custard powder,  sugar and 30 ml milk and mix well to form a smooth paste without any lumps. Keep aside.
3. In a saucepan add the remaining milk and heat it. When it just begins to boil lower flame.
4. Add the custard cocoa powder mixture to the milk and mix well. Keep mixing till it thickens. Remember to keep stirring or else it will stick to the bottom and sides and will also form lumps.
5. Add the melted chocolate and mix well.
6. Switch off flame and pour the pudding into a serving bowl.
7. When the pudding is still warm, cover with a cling wrap. The wrap should touch the pudding. This is to avoid drying of the top layer.
8. When it cools down to room temperature chill it in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours.
9. To serve add some whipped cream and place a glazed cherry on top or serve as desired.

Enjoy Easy chocolate Pudding.

Notes :
1. Substitute custard powder with equal quantity of cornflour and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
