I made these dosas for breakfast today and I loved them. My 3rd sister in law (Husband's sister) gave me this recipe and she asked me to try it out as she liked them. I am glad she shared the recipe with me. I made these dosas along with tomato dosa, curry leaves chutney and tomato chutney. 

Here is the recipe..

Makes 7-8 dosas

Ingredients :
Whole Green Moong Daal with skin - 1 cup
Ginger - 1/2 inch
Green Chilli - 1 
Salt to taste
Coriander Leaves - 1 Tablespoon
Water as required
Cooking soda - 1/3 Teaspoon
Oil for drizzling

Method :
1. Wash the moong daal and soak it in enough water overnight or for 8-10 hours.
2. With the help of your palms and fingers gently crush the daal to separate some of the skin. About half of the skin will separate.

3. Rinse the daal 5-6 times and drain the water each time discarding the skin. 
4. Grind the daal with chopped ginger, green chilli, coriander leaves and salt. Add water as required to grind to a dosa batter consistency.

5. Add the cooking soda and mix well. Keep it aside for 15 minutes.
6. Heat a tawa and pour a ladle of batter and spread making concentric circles from the centre to outwards like you spread a dosa.
7. Spray or drizzle some oil and let it cook till it turns slightly brown.
8. Flip to the other side and cook if desired.
9. Make dosas with the remaining batter in the same way.
